Courtney Hall joins Northern Urology as family nurse practitioner

Northern Urology, a division of Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy, NC, has announced the addition of Courtney Hall, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, to its team. In her new role, Hall will collaborate with Dr. David Werle, Dr. Leighton Lee III, and Cindy V. White, FNP-C.

Hall holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Carson-Newman University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

“I’m excited to welcome Courtney to the Northern Urology team,” said Dr. Leighton Lee. “Her extensive nursing background, patient-centered approach, and commitment to compassionate care align perfectly with the values we uphold here at Northern Urology.”

Hall expressed her motivation for joining the healthcare field: “My healthcare journey has always been driven by a desire to serve and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.” She credits her aunt's work in hospice care as an inspiration for her career path.

She elaborated on her patient care philosophy: “I believe that each patient is more than just a condition—they are unique individuals with their own stories, experiences, and needs.” Hall emphasized the importance of treating patients with dignity and building trust.

Regarding her decision to join Northern Urology, Hall stated: “Urology is such a dynamic field... What excites me most is the chance to educate patients and their families.” She noted that Northern Urology's focus on patient-centered care aligns with her values.

Northern Urology expressed confidence that Hall will have a positive impact on both patients and the community.
