To kickoff the Reeves Community Center Foundation 2022 Summer Adventure and Education Camp!
The campers participated in outdoor recreation activities such as on the trail, in the RCC outdoor pool, pickleball, fitness stations, soccer, kayaking in the Ararat River, cross net volleyball!
Community partners such as Surry County Health and Nutrition , Surry Arts Council , Mount Airy City Schools led the campers in exciting sessions on nutrition education, art enrichment and career exploration!
The campers also participated in fun and educational enrichment activities daily such as writing in journals, reading from our teen catalog and math computer lessons.
Not to mention our first or 7 weekly adventure and outdoor educational based field trip fridays (more posts to come).
