Project Management Program Helps Graduate Prepare for National Exam and Land New Job
Surry Community College graduate Kristi Fell successfully passed the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam in May and has landed a new job. She credits SCC’s Project Management Technology program for preparing her to successfully take the nationally recognized CAPM exam. She completed a Project Technology Workforce Certificate at SCC.

Thirty Surry-Yadkin Works Interns Advance to Permanent Employment
Thirty former Surry-Yadkin Works interns now have jobs after signing commitments with local employers. During the Spring 2021 semester, Surry-Yadkin Works interns were employed by 17 local businesses and organizations. Of the 50 student interns, 46 plan to continue their education in their internship field.
