Do you have a hunger to learn more about Health Science? Here, try our edible skin! Students in Mr. Lankford’s Health Science 1 class learned about the structures and functions of our Integumentary System be making ”skin” out of different food items. We used jello, cereal, and whipped cream to create different skin layers. Candy and grapes to help us remember the difference between sweat and oil glands. We even topped off our unusual treat with a twizzler to represent a hair! This skin lab was a fun and tasty way to learn how our skin works.
