YADKIN COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER: Yadkin County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council RFP

Yadkin County Animal Shelter issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

Yadkin County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council RFP

The JCPC anticipates expansion funds from the NC Dept. of Public Safety, Division of Juvenile Justice in the amount of $19,124 to fund the program types specified below.  Such programs will serve delinquent and at-risk youth for the state fiscal year 2019-2020 beginning on, or after, July 1, 2019.  The use of these funds in this county requires a local match in the amount specified above.

Applicants are being sought that are able to address items below:

 Program services compatible with research that are shown to be effective with juvenile offenders.

Program services are outcome-based.

The program has an evaluation component.

Program services detect gang participation and divert individuals from gang participation.                                                                                                                                                 The program has a transportation component.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     The program serves youth ages 6-17.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Applicants are encouraged to be innovative and submit proposals that meet multiple program needs.
