There were two gas stations in cities across Surry County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.76 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 12, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Surry County was $2.92 per gallon.
Of the 55 reported gas stations in cities within Surry County, 30 offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in North Carolina was $2.94, compared to $2.88 the week before.
