On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Mount Airy High School standout Reece McDuffie’s current college team, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, lost 16-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their first matchup against the Commodores this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex against UIC Flames.
