On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Elkin High School standout Lily Robbins’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium against Francis Marion Patriots.
