Update: these pictures are from the outage on North Elkin substation distribution lines.
As of 4:50 pm, Surry-Yadkin Electric Membership Corporation is experiencing outages spread across our service area. At present, they are affecting members in the North Elkin substation area, Lomax substation in Wilkes, Salem Fork, Pipers Gap and Oak Grove in Surry, along with a couple of small individual outages. Crews will be responding as safely and quickly as possible to restore power. Thank you for your patience.
