North Carolina State Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on April 7.
General Utility Worker:
• Working with Maintenance & Ranger staff on projects, operations & facilities upkeep including cleaning, landscaping & trail work
• Experience with hand tools & grounds keeping equipment preferred but not required
• Applicants should be self-motivated, prepared to work outside in all kinds of weather & be in good physical condition to work on trails in the park. Must be 18 years or older with valid driver’s license.
• Some weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required.
• To apply complete a temporary employment application at www.ncparks,gov/jobs. Completed applications can be emailed to hanging.rock@ncparks.gov or dropped off at the visitor center. Feel free to call 336-595-8480 with any questions.
