North Wilkes High School issued the following announcement on April 8.
Today students from Mr. Miles and Mr. Lankford’s classes attended the Health Science Discovery Day at Wilkes Community College. Students were able to take a tour of the campus at Herring Hall and participate in interactive skills and activities related to careers in Healthcare. Students learned about the opportunities available in Nursing, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Science, Medical Assisting and Human Services! The future is looking bright for these Vikings! Thank you WCC and the CTE department for this wonderful opportunity!
