The North Carolina Right to Life, Inc. endorsed Rep. Kyle Hall (R-Stokes) for his abortion stance, the state legislator said on his Facebook page.
"I am proud to be endorsed in the election by North Carolina Right to Life, Inc," Hall said in his Oct. 13 Facebook post about the political nod. "I believe life is the most fundamental right and as your state representative, I'll continue to support pro-life legislation."
North Carolina Right to Life, Inc. is an affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee, according to its Facebook page. The organization states that it works "through the law to protect innocent human life from abortion and euthanasia."
According to Bill Track 50, Hall has sponsored legislation including the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection and the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection acts. He also sponsored a bill, which sought to prohibit abortion beyond 13 weeks of pregnancy except in cases involving a medical emergency and a measure, which would have banned dismemberment abortions.
Hall, who represents District 91, faces a challenge from Democrat Rita Cruise.
