On Saturday, March 8, former Elkin High School standout Lily Robbins’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Emory & Henry Wasps.
The game took place at Wingate Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Wasps this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Purnell Swett High School against UNC Pembroke Braves.
