On Saturday, Feb. 15, former East Wilkes High School standout Kali Cook’s current college team, the Emory & Henry Wasps, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Wasps’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 1 p.m. at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.
