Former North Wilkes High School standout Ralee Bare’s current team, the Lenoir–Rhyne Bears, were defeated 72-53 by the Carson-Newman Eagles on Monday, March 16, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest, held at B. Frank Tex Turner Arena at 7 p.m., marked the Bears’ opening tournament game against Carson-Newman.
