Elkin, NC – May 20, 2025. The Environmental Services Team at Hugh Chatham Health has been awarded a 5-star rating for cleanliness by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This recognition highlights the team’s dedication to maintaining high standards of safety and patient care.
The CMS rating is based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which evaluates patients’ experiences during their hospital stays. Additionally, Becker’s Hospital Review has recognized Hugh Chatham Health as one of the cleanest hospitals in North Carolina and among the top 5% nationwide.
