On Friday, Feb. 7, former Elkin High School standout Lily Robbins’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mines Orediggers.

The game took place at Buccaneer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Orediggers this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at Buccaneer Softball Field against Barry Buccaneers.
